The CICG Center for Europe and Asia (China Pictorial Publications) and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies jointly established the BRICS Association for Visual Arts in collaboration with photographic associations and related institutions from BRICS countries. Similarly, the mainstream media outlets and think tanks from BRICS countries worked together to establish the BRICS Media & Think Tank Association. The objective of the BRICS Association for Visual Arts is to bring together photography organizations and related institutions from BRICS countries and establish a comprehensive media platform for exchanging photography themes and resources. The platform aims to serve as an image database for people-to-people exchanges, enhancing cross-cultural communication through imagery among BRICS countries.金砖国家影像联盟聚合金砖五国的摄影组织和机构，实现创作题材和影像资源的互通共享，打造金砖国家全媒体影像平台，依托平台形成人文交流影像资料库，发挥影像的跨文化传播作用。
The BRICS Media & Think Tank Association aims to create a platform for mainstream media organizations and influential think tanks from BRICS countries to exchange information and engage in cooperative activities such as sharing information, organizing academic discussions, conducting joint reporting activities, and facilitating mutual visits. Its goal is to promote interaction among media organizations and think tanks, enhance the influence of BRICS countries, and facilitate cooperation among them.金砖国家媒体智库联盟联合金砖五国主流媒体和智库，以“媒体+智库”的形式，聚合媒体智库资源，开展信息交流、学术研讨、联合采访、人员互访等方面的合作，实现金砖国家智力资源与舆论资源的互联互通。
The initiative to establish the two associations has received a positive response from relevant institutions of BRICS countries since its inception. The BRICS Association for Visual Arts has attracted nine visual arts institutions from BRICS countries, including the China Photographers Association, the Union of Photo Artists of Russia, the Indian Institute of Photography, and the Photographic Society of South Africa. Similarly, the BRICS Media & Think Tank Association has garnered support from 19 major media outlets and prestigious think tanks from BRICS countries. Some of the notable members include Radar China and the Lula Institute from Brazil, Rossiyskaya Gazeta and Trud newspaper from Russia, Free Press Journal and the Forum for a New South Asia from India, Independent Media Group from South Africa, the Euro-Asian Social Development Research Institute under the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, China Daily, and China News Service.两个联盟自倡议开始即得到金砖国家相关机构的热烈响应。中国摄影家协会、俄罗斯摄影艺术家联盟、印度摄影学院、南非摄影学会等9家金砖国家影像机构加入影像联盟；巴西卢拉研究所、巴西《中国雷达》、《俄罗斯报》、俄罗斯《劳动报》、印度《自由新闻报》、印度“新南亚论坛”、南非独立传媒集团、中国国务院发展研究中心欧亚社会发展研究所、中国日报社、中国新闻社等19家金砖国家主流媒体和知名智库加入媒体智库联盟。
